Pricing and scheduling
How much does junk removal cost?
We price by how much space your items take up in the truck, not by how long the job takes. The quote covers labor, disposal fees, and time. Estimates are free and done in person, with no hidden fees. Every load is different, so request a free quote or call for an accurate price.
How quickly can you remove my junk?
We do same-day and next-day pickups by appointment. It depends on the schedule, so call 508-463-6150 as early as you can to get a time.
Do you charge by the hour?
No. We charge by volume, meaning the space your things take up in the truck. A quick job doesn't cost you more or less, and you know the price before we start.
What we take and what we can't
What types of junk do you take?
Furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, construction debris, and most household and business items. It can be one piece or a whole property. We also take pianos, hot tubs, and sheds. If you're not sure about something, call and we'll tell you.
What can't you take?
For safety and legal reasons we can't take hazardous materials like paint, fuel, and chemicals. If you're unsure about an item, call 508-463-6150 and we'll let you know before we come out.
Logistics and payment
Do I need to be present for the junk removal?
Not for the whole job. We suggest being there at the start to confirm what's going. We won't go inside your home without you there, but if everything is outside we can take care of it while you're gone. Real estate agents and contractors use us this way a lot.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards, PayPal, Zelle, check, and cash. We don't take Bitcoin at this time. If you won't be there for the job, a credit card, PayPal, or Zelle works well. Call 508-463-6150 to set it up.
How big are your trucks?
It depends on the job. For big cleanouts we have a MONSTER truck-and-trailer combo about the size of a city block. For everyday jobs we use standard dump trucks with a bed 12 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 4 feet high.
Who shows up on the day?
Usually a crew of two with all the tools the job needs. If it's a big job, we send more trucks.
Where your junk goes
What happens to the junk you take? Do you use landfills?
We donate what's usable and recycle what we can. Most of what's left goes to local waste-to-energy partners that turn it into electricity. Altogether, 90% of what we haul stays out of landfills.
Can you donate items for me?
Yes. Tell us at the start what you'd like donated and we'll set it aside and get it to a local charity if they can use it.
Is there a price guarantee?
Yes, and we'll put the quote in writing if you want. The estimate we give you in person before we start is the most you'll pay for those items. If you add more, the price goes up. If everything takes up less room in the truck than we figured, you pay less. We've worked for the big 1-800 companies and franchises, and we set up our pricing to be more honest than theirs.
What about heavy construction material?
Brick, cinderblock, lumber, and other dense material cost a bit more because of the weight. It's sorted as construction and demolition debris (C&D), which has its own disposal cost. We tell you about that when we quote, so it's never a surprise.
Do you take scrap metal?
Yes, but there's still a fee for removal, the same as anything else we haul. The in-person estimate is always free.
