Junk Removal FAQ
Pricing & Scheduling
How much does junk removal cost?
Pricing is based on how much space your items take up in our truck — not how long the job takes. The quote includes labor, disposal fees, and time. Estimates are free, done in person, with no hidden fees. Everyone's load is different, so request a free quote or call for an accurate price.
How quickly can you remove my junk?
We offer same-day and next-day removal across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, by appointment. Timing depends on availability, so call 508-463-6150 as early as you can to lock in a slot.
Do you charge by the hour?
No — we charge by volume, the space your items take up in the truck. That means a fast crew doesn't cost you more, and you know the price before we start.
What We Take (and What We Can't)
What types of junk do you take?
Furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, construction debris, and most household and business items — from a single piece to a full property cleanout. We also handle specialty items like pianos, hot tubs, and sheds. Not sure about your item? Call and we'll confirm.
What can't you take?
For safety and legal reasons, we can't take hazardous materials — paints, fuel, chemicals. If you're unsure about an item, call 508-463-6150 and we'll let you know before we come out.
Logistics & Payment
Do I need to be present for the junk removal?
Not for the whole job. We recommend being there at the start to confirm what's going. We can't enter your home without you present — but if the items are outside, we can handle it without you there. That's ideal for real estate agents, contractors, and anyone too busy to wait around.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards, PayPal, Zelle, check, and cash. We do not accept Bitcoin at this time. For remote jobs, credit card, PayPal, and Zelle work great — just coordinate with us by calling 508-463-6150.
How big are your trucks?
Our fleet scales to the job. It includes a MONSTER truck-and-trailer combo about the size of a city block for major cleanouts, plus standard dump trucks (12 ft long, 8 ft wide, 4 ft high) for everyday hauls.
Where Your Junk Goes
What happens to the junk you take? Do you use landfills?
We donate what's usable and recycle what's recyclable. Whatever can't be reused, we route through local waste-to-energy partners that convert non-recyclable material into electricity — so we keep 90% of everything we collect out of landfills. It's one of the things our community is genuinely proud of.
Can you donate items for me?
Yes — when you'd like something donated, we'll set it aside and get it to a local charity whenever it's a fit. Just let us know at the start of the job.
Is there a price guarantee?
Yes — and if you want the quote in writing, we're happy to put it in writing. The in-person estimate we give before starting is the maximum you'll pay. If items are added, the price adjusts up; if your items take up less truck space than predicted, we charge you less. We've worked for the big 1-800 companies and franchises before — our pricing is built to be more honest than theirs.
What about heavy construction material?
Dense materials like brick, cinderblock, and lumber cost slightly more due to weight — they're sorted as construction & debris (C&D) and carry their own disposal cost. Not a hidden fee: it's discussed upfront at your quote.
Do you take scrap metal?
Absolutely — though not for free. All removals are for a fee, but the in-person estimate is always 100% free.
Who shows up on the day?
Two friendly, well-trained professionals with all the tools needed to remove your items — and if the job calls for it, we send as many trucks as needed.
