About Ryan’s Junk Truck

Ryan’s Junk Truck is a junk removal business based in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. I’m Ryan Aldrich, the owner, and I started it in 2018. We work in Bristol County and the Providence area, roughly 30 miles around Rehoboth.

How it started

It started with trips to the Rehoboth transfer station. Every visit was a hassle. You didn’t know what a load would cost until you pulled up, you had to pay by check, and there was a punch card system nobody really understood. I was also the only one in my extended family with a truck, so I was hauling everybody’s trash, and I’d get grief at the gate for that.

Doing all that hauling, I saw pretty quickly that there was real money in it. In 2018 I made it a business.

Who shows up

I’m an owner operator, so I’m the one you talk to and the one who does the work. When a job needs more hands or a piece of equipment, I call on insured local businesses for help or rentals. People around here look out for each other, and I’ve never been stuck looking for help when I needed it.

The truck

Jobs go out in a Chevy LCF 4500 dump truck, and local mechanics keep it running. I try to support local businesses whenever I can.

Where your stuff goes

We don’t use landfills. Loads go to transfer stations and recycling centers instead, and about 90 percent of what we haul gets recycled. That’s a number we’re comfortable standing behind.

What to expect

We’re licensed and insured. There’s no minimum, so a single chair or a couple of bags is fine. We also take on big jobs all the time, like full estate cleanouts, apartment buildings and entire factories.

We don’t leave until the job is done and you’re happy with it.

A basement cleanout

This basement had old wicker chairs, a ladder, ductwork, stainless shelving, wire racks and a pile of scrap metal. Here’s how we left it.
